Keevin Hesuse from the Dine’ nation (Navaho) originally from northwest New Mexico of the Navaho reservation. Keevin comes from a family of artists and grew up making jewelry and other creations since the age of 14. Keevin has his own style as an artist, working with many different materials and medias including: abalone (Diichili) which is one of 4 sacred stones/shells including turquoise (Dootl’izhii) and black jet (Ba’a’shzhinii) and white shell (Yoolgai). “Prayers and offerings to the creator and spirits are a must in my jewelry creationz!!”
